Spiderman 3 > Spiderman 2 > Spiderman 1. The Series Just Keeps on Getting Better.

Spiderman 3 is probably one of the most anticipated movies since Return of the Jedi back in the early eighties. Did it live up to the hype? Yes… mostly. Decepticreep and I went and saw Spiderman 3 at the Southpoint Casino late Saturday night. (Sorry Tenno, we tried to get a hold of you but you weren’t returning our calls.) What can I say, I really like this movie. The action scenes were great and the most important part, the three villains, weren’t over bearing to the development to the story. (Though Venom and Sandman were diluted) I was laughing throughout most of this movie and it was just plain fun. I’m still convinced that Decepticreep and I are the only ones with a good sense of humor.

While the movie was great, the relationship story arc with Peter Parker (Toby Maguire) and Mary Jane (Kirstin Dunst) was getting tiresome and old. All in all, I must recommend this flick since it ties up a lot of loose ends and ends the trilogy nicely. If you like the first two movies, then you’ll love Spiderman 3. I really like the movie as a whole, but I had little “problems” that did not take away from the movie.
