Marathon on my 360?

The pre-Halo mid 90’s first person shooter Bungie classic for the Mac will be making it’s first home console appearance soon on Xbox 360. Marathon: Durandal (2?) will be released via download on Xbox Live and it will be sporting upgraded high (er) res graphics for Microsoft’s gaming platform. I’ve never had a chance to play any of the Marathon series due to the fact that back in 94, I couldn’t afford a PC let alone a Mac and that I really hate playing games on a computer. Call me backwards but for me gaming is meant to be on a TV and your ass sitting on a couch with a bunch of your friends. I lower back and eyes can thank me for my stubborn unwillingness to change my 20+ years of gaming habits. What I’m most excited about this game is that Bungie has always intrigued me with there story telling and I want to experience the great Bungie of yesteryear. I guess I’m wanting to respect Bungie’s gaming roots or something like that, but with mulitplayer, Co-Op and system link, this might be a nice diversion from Gears and Halo 3. I know I’m going to give this game try whenever it’s released on Xbox Live.
Seventeen years ago, you survived a vicious Pfhor assault on the U.E.S.C. Marathon. Now you have been awakened by the enigmatic, sentient A.I. called Durandal and sent to an alien world to uncover the mysteries of their advanced technology. In Marathon: Durandal, armed with only a pistol, you are humanity’s last champion!
·Epic story: The game’s entire story (over 13000 lines of text) has been translated into seven languages.·Upgraded visuals: All images in the game have been redrawn in high definition.
·Modern networking: Marathon: Durandal features a new modern networking layer built with Xbox LIVE® in mind.
·Superior control: The redesigned controls take full advantage of the Xbox 360 Controller and enhance playing a first-person shooter on a home console.

gosh I played Marathon II back in high school (96ish) it was quite addicting, I actually failed a class because of it…
I think I own it for PC around here somewhere…looking back, the characters are definitely “Master Chief” like they have the helmet and visor. The games single player mode was “ok” it was all about the multiplayer.
