Here’s a long list of upcoming compilations for the Wii, PSP and the “dead†PlayStation 2 that was shown off at the GDC last week. I have a big chunk of these games but I’m looking forward to pick up a few of these collections only to support SNKP so they can make lots of money and continuing making better games.
Here’s the list:
World Hero Collection: World Hero, World Hero 2, World Hero 2 Jet & World Hero Perfect for the PS2
Fatal Fury Volume 2: Real Bout Fatal Fury, Real Bout Fatal Fury Special & Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 for the PS2
SNK Classic Collection will have: Metal Slug, Magical Lord, King of Fighter ’94, King of the Monsters, Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting, World Heroes, Fatal Fury, Last Resort, Top Hunter, Sengoku, Burning Fight, Shock Troopers, Super Sidekicks 3, Neo Turf Master, Baseball Stars 2 for the PS2, PSP & Wii
Samurai Shodown Anthology: Samurai Shodown I-V, Samurai Shodown V: Special & Samurai Shodown 6 for the PS2 & Wii
King of Fighters The Orochi Saga: King of Fighters 94-98 PS2, PSP & Wii
King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match for the PS2
Of all the games SNKP are releasing, I’m most excited about the KoF 98 Ultimate Match and Samurai Shodown Anthology. Mainly for the amazing deal for Samurai Showdown V: Special. That game still goes for about $150 on the MVS. I can’t wait for all these new and up coming games to be released this year. Oh man it’s a good time to be a SNK fan.
I happy that SNK Playmore is actually making money on the old SNK products and I hope they can make better games like how King of Fighter XII, Metal Slug 7 for the DS and Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny are turning out to be.
The only thing that’s irritating me is that soon my collection of MVS boards will be worthless because all of them will have been rereleased. Oh well, at least I have the expected the usual delays to make my collection relevant for a few more months.
