What I find most hilarious is Alex Lifeson trying to figure out the guitar controller and Geddy Lee readjusting his voice to the old ass master track all the while Neil Peart looked and sounded handicapped with his toy drum controller. This has to go down as one of the coolest skit I think I ever seen from one of my more favorite rock bands. Bravo to “The Colbert Report†for archiving this hilarity.
Now excuse me for a bit while I rock out to YYZ and 2112 and get the fuck out of Dodge for making fun of my wife’s most favoritest band in the universe. Check out the video after the jump.

Sometimes it takes a big kick in the butt to get me off my ass, but the sudden realization that EVO 2K8 is almost upon us has got me to continue on my restoration project. I have chosen my NARC cabinet because if I get the approval to bring this machine to EVO I wanted something smaller and lighter to move around.
Lets face it; a big 25-inch cabinet is just too big and is a freaking pain to move to the event. I’ve always wanted to rebuild this cabinet due to its ‘ET’ style head that hold the 19-inch monitor. The early 80′s American cabs were always more unique than their 90′s counterpart. This cab lets you get up close and personal with the display and since you are so close, it doesn’t really feel like you are playing on a smaller display. Another more sinister reason is that it breaks down into three separate pieces thus making the restoration that much easier. Continue reading Purple People Eater
I’ve been sluffing off on my weekly Virtual Console updates and I blame the Wiiware games for sucking the joy out of these articles. Because of my distaste for most Wiiware games, I’ve decided to no longer write about each and every stupid game release on Nintendo’s original download service so instead, I’ll will just focus on the Virtual Console and only mention Wiiware games that interests me, like Megaman 9 and the new Gradius games (whenever they get released).
So on that note, here is the past three weeks of VC downloads that I forgot to write about with no Wiiware filler. Enjoy.
