Anticipation: Resistance 2 Beta

Okay let me be quite blunt; I didn’t like Resistance: Fall of Man. I thought the game was generic and boring and I just couldn’t get into the Demo. Yeah, I never actually played through the first game. Silly I know but when I got my PS3 I wasn’t looking for another FPS game to play. That’s what the Xbox 360 was for. I just pass over this game and played through Heavenly Sword instead and now I just use my PS3 to play PlayStation 1 RPGs.

So with on that note, I was quite impressed by the flashy trailer from Sony last E3. The gargantuan enemy battle looked a lot of fun to tackle and assuming this is truly real time, consider me impressed. So after applying for the beta, I was shocked to see that my application was accepted. So it’s downloading right now and for some weird reason, all my PS3 downloads are slow as hell, so it doesn’t look like I’ll be playing this before work but I at least I now have something to look forward to for this weekend. Well, I’ll keep everyone updated so my first impression on the 8 player online co-op and 60 multiplayer. Maybe Resistance 2 will win over my cynical heart.
