Arcade Voyeur: Gameworks Las Vegas

All right! Due to no longer being shackled to my desk at my day job, I get the awesome opportunity to wonder about the town and run across many arcades through out greater Las Vegas Valley. What I’m hoping will happen with this new “PineconeArcade” segment is to inform you the readers with interesting up-to-date information on the gaming status of local Casino arcades.  Readers and contributors are encouraged to send photos and info about any new arcades or interesting games that pop up in the various gaming locals in Las Vegas/Henderson/North Las Vegas area and beyond. So here are some crappy cell phone pics from my blackberry on a few machines that should pique your interests. Sorry for the poor picture quality but this was all that I had on me.

The first is a game I never knew existed: After Burner Climax. Wow this game is a dedicated sit-down cab like the original After Burner with updated amazing visuals and a hellacious sound system. My teeth were chattering and I can’t wait to head back there on my time off to try out this machine.

The second machine was the Namco’s Mario Kart Arcade GP cab. I’ve heard mixed things about this machine but I always wanted to test drive this game for myself. It looks to be in great shape and I’m really curious about sitting down and getting my ass handed to me by a red shell…

The next machine of interests was the House of the Dead 4 machine. Gotta love the on-rails shooters especially high-resolution zombies. Oh yeah! ‘Nuff said…

The last and final machine of interest on my 5-minute-quickie-tour-during-work-hours was the Rambo Arcade gun game. You remember Rambo right? Well this game is full of fun and explosions with Rambo’s signature badassery.  I need to get my hands on the Uzi controllers and kill me some generic evil people of Asian persuasion.  All right…

If you want to try these games out then head over to:

GameWorks

Keep coming back because we will do our best to keep local arcade tidbits up-to-date on this site and more importantly, where you can play these games. And if you would like to help us or you found a cool arcade with interesting wonderful arcade cabs and pinball machine, please e-mail Jangofatt at Pineconeattack@gmail.com.
