After reading Jango’s story about the machines currently inhabiting the local Gameworks, I knew I had to get my ass down there at some point to be able to try out the Rambo arcade game. I mean, seriously…who doesn’t like Rambo. Well, actually, I can name one person, but I’ll let her slide. My opportunity came early last week when I had a day off and was going to be hanging out with Domino-chan. Our friend Ross works on the Strip and we offered to pick him up, which afforded us the chance to stop by Gameworks and give it a whirl.
Upon arriving there, the machine was in use, which was expected. So, we hit up some other machines before coming back about 20 minutes later to find two dumb-ass kids failing away. I’m not sure why people are so afraid of kids with guns, since if these dip-shits were any indication, shooting someone would be the last thing of the list of stuff they could do with a firearm. Even after their mom showed up to let them know that it was time to leave, they continued playing, aware that we were waiting and time was running out on our cards. Goddamn, I hate kids sometimes. So, after they finally got the hint and took off to lose at life somewhere else, Ross and I swiped our time-cards and proceeded to show everyone how it was done.
