One of my favorite things about the Neo-Geo arcade setup is the ability to swap around games like no one’s business. The flexibility of the first “multi-cade” made the MVS hardware a favorite for arcade owners so now fast-forward 19 years and the MVS hardware is at a price point that anyone including the hardcore enthusiast can enjoy these bad boys in their living room. The only problem this situation is that you can quickly accumulate a nice big collection on the cheap but for the anal-retentive, this means your games will not have a matching mini-marquees. A lot of common games have uncommon-rare art sets and mini-marquee so it’s not always possible to find the original marquee and your only alternative was to make print out duplicate or customs mini marquees.
That is until now. So one local hardcore gamer from the local Las Vegas Neo-Geo scene has not only come up with a nifty idea to solve the missing mini marquee dilemma, he made it look freaking stylish and awesome. What’s NeoTheranthrope’s solution? Upload the images of the mini marquee to digital frames and mount them onto the main marquee. Brilliant!
Big local props goes on to NeoTheranthope from the PCA community. Check out the original post here on Neo-Geo.com for the instructions and part list.

I should donate my digital frame to George or someone who’s interested in trying out the digital marquee.
Curse you! I saw this on NG.com and thought, “I should post an article about this on my website when I get home”. I get home and what do I see on PCA’s website? Indeed, you are quick on the trigger my friend. Quick I say.
