If you are a gamer, you’ve probably played a couple of games that carried the name Zelda in it’s title, and after playing a few Zelda titles over the years, you might be asking yourself, is there a point to these games?

Well, this 280 page book may not actually answer that question, but it does give you a ton of historical information about the franchise and the long sought after official Zelda timeline!

Zelda Historia is a high quality book from Dark Horse filled with concept art, official timeline, and even a manga by Akira Himekawa. This book is just gorgeous with its gold leaf cover and high quality pages, filled to the brim with Zelda juicy tidbits that will satisfy any hardcore fan.

My one and only complaint I have with this book is the overuse of Zelda Skyward Sword art, which is a over all minor. What I most love about this book is seeing all the artwork from the early games, because I just LOVE that old school 80’s anime artstyle.

Seriously, go to your local comic shop, bookstore or your local Amazon.com super mega site and pick up Zelda Historia on the cheap.

About Jangofatt

Jango believes in the simple rule of gaming: games are meant to be played and enjoyed, not to be placed behind glass only to be to stared at. When he isn't playing old school games, Jango is also the host for the Pinekast in which you will hear his frustrations with his fellow site members. Believe you me, a bad day gaming and recording the Pinekast is always better than a good day at work.
