We all know that Mirage Studios sold the rights of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Viacom a few months back and Viacom had a clause stating that Mirage Studios could publish up to 15 comics a year for, I don’t know how many years. So I just got Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PS3 (for the Joker mode) at Wal-Mart the other day and it came with an exclusive Batman armor download code and a sticker. Why? So I could attend the largest comic book convention in the US. I didn’t go for the recommended four days, but that didn’t matter. I got a full experience just from attending Friday and Saturday. I began my preparations by renting a car. There was no way in hell my J’onn (a 1994 Ford Taurus) was going to make the 6-hour drive, so I ended up with an upgrade from my original reservation: a Dodge Caliber. I drove the egg-shaped vehicle into California, tearing through Barstow and Riverside. When I arrived at my hotel in San Diego, I was nearly choked by the humidity. I checked in and took the time to relax and wait for my con-going buddies to call me. By the time we got to hang out, the sun was setting. And since I was on the top floor of my hotel, I decided to snap a photo.

Last Tuesday, actually. I was just too lazy to actually write about it. But, really, what is there to discuss? Actually, I probably should discuss it, shouldn’t I? Otherwise, what’s the point of even writing? Beware, for spoilers follow the break, for those who have spent the last 22 years in some kind of stasis field.
