HERE BE EVO!
So I went to EVO for about an hour.
Yup. Just one. And for a bunch of you, you’re probably all like, ‘Whoaaaaaa there Tenno! You were at the gaming Mecca of Las Vegas! You fricking live there even! WHAT THE! HELL!’
Hey baby, I’m a rolling stone. And by that I mean that even aside from all that awesome gaming on hand, I just am not that big of a fighting game guy to geek out properly at events like this. Literally I was melting the second I walked in -Hey Caesar’s Palace! A little A/C here! – and already ready to go. This shit just isn’t for me.

Pictured: Shit that isn't for me.

It’s in sunny ass Las Vegas, like normal. Why? ’cause Vegas is awesome!
We’ll be there.
We’ll be bringing machines for people to play on.
We’ll be taking pictures and interviewing people.
We’ll be sponsoring someone whose in the Super Street Fighter 4 matches (and you better fucking win…).
We’ll be buying exclusive Meatbun EVO shirts.
We’ll be all like, cursing and drinking and shit.
We’ll maybe probably not even close fuck you I’ll make them this time! No fuck that. Liar! EAT SHIT! MAYBE even make some PCA special shirts for the event. Want one? Better hope I finish Bizzaro’s first! Or else I’d be mean as shit to make more of anything! Want one? Make a great argument for me to waste my time doing so. Then hand me cash! We both win!

Because you can’t have PINCONEVOATTACK! without EVO!

A picture IS worth a thousand word, but some of us need a reminder of that.
So I was listening to one of my favorite non-video game based podcast, Comic Geek Speak, when I heard them mention their sponsors, Stylin Online. They were talking about how Stylin Online carries all sorts of nerd related shirts, hoodies, and hats. So I decided to check them out today when I stumbled onto [...]

So my Club Nintendo prize arrived today.
You may remember I was a little disappointed with the prizes for my loyalty to the almighty “N.” I can’t say I’m surprised about it.
The hat looks and smells nice. The fabrics seems cheap but at least it is the correct color of red. The funny thing is the instructions are telling me to never wash it or even dry clean this thing. It will forever be a sponge of funk and grim. But I do not really have to worry about that because Continue reading It’sa Me, Mario’s Hat!
Okay, at first I was a little disturbed by the cross-dressing but after learning about Takarazuka Revue, this is now full of win. I would actually consider seeing this performed live, assuming it was one day translated into English.
I’m looking forward to Youtube user GKKLJapan‘s hard work in subtitling and posting this interesting spin [...]

As with most pop culture conventions, you will have your fair share of cosplayers and I’m happy to say that BotCon did not disappoint. I personally dig cosplayer if they do it right and I absolutely love when they do it wrong. Surprisingly, I was quite impressed with most of the cosplayers because a lot of time and effort was put into their costume to not look stupid. I tip my hat to thee, bravo. So let’s begin into the seedy world of Transformer related costume play.

So, who’s going to Botcon ’09 with me? It will be on May 28th until May 31st in Pasadena, CA. The reason for my intrest in this particular convention is that it’s not often that Botcon makes it this far west. It usually takes place in the mid-west like Ohio or [...]
