Game of the Month: March

Download flOw ASAP on the PSN

Flow…
It’s a fun little game.
You control the thing with the 6 axis.
I really have no idea what the thing you control really is.
I guess it could be categorized as a protozoon.
I find Flow to be a nice relaxing title.
It’s good, but nothing to write home about it.
Unless your Tenno and gushes over it because [...]

Fun With…

Well, any game I’ve managed to capture little quirks and glitches on. The list is ever-growing and my (mostly over-acted) shock and anger will be along with it. Enjoy, since with how this generation of gaming is going, there will be many more to come.

Movie Review: Bigger, Faster, Stronger

I watched a documentary the other day about steroids and their effects on female body builders when they showed some guy talking about steroids and under his name showed that he was a director for the movie Bigger, Faster, Stronger. I was like, “Hey, that movie is on my Netflix instant que on the 360. [...]

Amazon Real Arcade Pro. SALE!

At this moment, Amazon has the Xbox 360 Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE joystick on sale for only $89.99. That’s a great price for a joystick with 100% real arcade Seimitsu joystick and buttons. Seeing how the regular price was $139.99, I say jump on this deal while it’s still on.
I scored a PlayStation 3 [...]

Yakuza 3 dated for March 2010

Man, this game looks so much better than Yakuza on the PS2.

Game of the Month: Stranglehold

The sequel to John Woo’s Hard Boiled, Stranglehold is actually our first current generation game for the Game of the Month. There will be no pretension with this game. It’s all about shooting everything that moves and a few hundred watermelons. This month is all about so good old fashion arcade shooting fun, [...]

Netflix PS3 Impression

So my Netflix disc arrived last Thursday and after several days of use, I have to say that the PS3 Netflix streaming is actually proficient.
Pros:

The PS3 version is 100% free to stream Netflix, while you have to be a gold member ($50 per year) on the Xbox 360.

The reliability of the PS3 hardware is better. [...]

Modern Warfare 2: I’ll Wait, Thanks.

The question that has been on everyone’s lips is, “When are you getting (Call of Duty) Modern Warfare 2?, and as much as I really want to get my hands on this game, I have a nagging feeling that this purchase will just feed the beast that is Activision and its overlord: Bobby Kotick. [...]

‘Heavy Rain’ Presentation

Heavy Rain is a game that I’ve been keeping on my radar due to the heavy emphasize on story development. What intrigues me about Heavy Rain is that each decision the gamer makes will actually affect the outcome of the plot development making the gaming experience more like an interactive movie than just a video [...]

Holy Shit! Yakuza 3 has been confirmed for North America!

Happy days!
The one and only Sega game that I was interested in playing on the PS3 seem to have been given the green light for an offical English translations. While the Japanese will be getting the 4th game of the series, I’m just happy to see that I will be getting a chance at [...]
