Found a GeoCities shrine to my middle school crush last night
Ngl I was bored at 2 AM and decided to punch my old AIM screen name into the Wayback Machine. Found a whole GeoCities page someone made dedicated to me full of animated fire gifs and a midi of "I Swear" by All-4-One, and honestly it's the most 1998 thing I've ever seen. Has anyone else dug up cringey fan pages about themselves?

Man that All My Life midi just hits different when you actually lived through the 90s and remember what it was like hearing that song for the first time. @wyatt_chen86 you're right, the file itself is barely 30KB of chiptune nonsense but somehow it brings back all those afternoons hanging out at the arcade or waiting for someone to finish their turn on the school computer. The way that midi version cuts off right before the chorus turnaround is painful in a funny way. Makes you appreciate why people put together those "better with sound" edits on YouTube now.
