Overheard a kid call Netscape 'that old blue house icon thing'

I was at the library last week and heard this teenager say the Netscape logo looked like some outdated relic. It hit me that my first browser was literally the gateway to a whole new world for me. Does anyone else still get a little nostalgic over that old compass icon?

Did you ever sit there waiting for a page to load just staring at that spinning green N? That slow dial up sound is still burned into my memory too.

Read that dial up sound is actually what they use in horror movies now to signal something bad is about to happen. Still gives me the same feeling when I hear it.
