Shoutout to that old Geocities page about building your own PC
Back in '97 I followed some random dude's guide on Geocities with neon text and a tiled background to build my first computer. I still use his trick for grounding myself before touching components, saved me from frying a $200 motherboard last month. Anyone else learn something useful from those janky old pages?

And @johnson.adam you're right about bad advice but that grounding trick is legit. I fried a PSU once by ignoring it and the smell stuck around for days. Neon text or not, some stuff from those pages just works.
