Spent a whole evening trying to download a 3 minute song on dial-up

I was trying to get a Smashing Pumpkins MP3 off Napster back in 1999 and it kept cutting out at 80%. I think it took me like 4 or 5 tries before the download finished. Each time I'd be sitting there watching the progress bar crawl for 20 minutes, then someone would pick up the phone and I'd lose the connection. Finally got it around midnight when everyone was asleep. Did anyone else have a specific song that just refused to download? I'm still mad about that one.

That 80% curse was real. I lost a Backstreet Boys single the same way.
