Just realized the old forum archives are better than current guides

I spent 3 hours in Salt Lake City last week trying to fix a 2003 Camry alternator, and every current video skipped the part about the hidden bolt. Someone linked me to a forum thread from 2008 that was still up, and it had step by step photos and 14 replies troubleshooting the exact same issue. Does anyone else dig through those dead forums first, or am I just getting old and cranky about YouTube tutorials?
