Spent a whole Tuesday down a rabbit hole on a 2002 site about homemade hovercrafts
I mean, it was one of those GeoCities style pages, just a wall of bright blue text and broken image links. The last update was from like 2006, talking about using a leaf blower engine. I tried to follow the plans, idk why, maybe it's just me but there's something weirdly sad about seeing someone's passion project just frozen in time like that. The guestbook was full of comments from 2004 asking for updates that never came. Anyone else ever get stuck on a site so old it feels like a ghost town?
