Stumbled onto a website from 2002 that's just a guy's daily diary about his pet ferret named Steve

I was digging for old GeoCities stuff and found this perfectly preserved page where a guy in Omaha logged every single thing Steve did for a full week in April 2002, including a 400-word entry about the ferret's confusion over a new brand of litter. The last update is a post from 2003 saying 'Steve is napping, more later,' and it just... ends. Has anyone else found a time capsule this specific and oddly charming?

That was actually a Tripod page, not GeoCities. The guy was from Lincoln, not Omaha.

You ever notice how people mix up little details like that all the time? It's like when someone says they saw you at Walmart but it was actually Target, or they think your cousin lives in Denver when he's in Colorado Springs. I swear half the arguments I get into with my buddy start because he remembers a story one way and I remember it another, and we're both kinda right but also kinda wrong. Same thing happens with old websites, people just lump all that late 90s stuff together.
