The 2004 weather site that still predicts my weekend better than the apps

My buddy runs a tiny farm outside Bozeman and he told me to use this old site, weather.oldfrontier.net or something like that. It hasn't been updated since 2011, the layout is pure tables and green text. But for three years now it's been more accurate for wind gusts and frost than any of the big apps. Last week it said 32 degrees at 6am, every app said 38, and I lost a whole flat of seedlings. I mean, maybe it's just dumb luck or a specific sensor they used, but I check it every night now. Anyone else got a dead site that somehow still carries more weight than the new stuff?

Old tech beats fancy apps every single time.
