The guestbook on a 1998 fan page for a Toledo radio station still gets a few entries every year
Last month I was poking around old fan sites and landed on a page for a Toledo AM station that signed off in 2003. The site itself froze in 1999, same hit counter, same frames, same MIDI loop, but the guestbook had entries from this past January and even one from 2024. Ten or so people a year still sign it, mostly older folks saying they miss the morning show or asking if anyone taped a certain broadcast. What got me was one entry from a woman in Sylvania thanking the webmaster for leaving it up, and the webmaster's email bounced when I tried it, so nobody is even reading these. Does anyone know of other dead sites where the guestbook outlived the actual site?
