The weather site from 1998 that still updates every hour somehow

I found this local weather page for a small town in Kansas that someone built in 1998, it's just text and a GIF of a sun. The guy who made it still manually updates it every single morning at 6am, I checked the timestamps for a week straight. It's got current temp, humidity, and a five day forecast that's just his gut feeling, not even a radar. I used to check a site like this on dial-up before school, now I just glance at my phone's weather app without thinking. It got me wondering, do we even realize how much we lost when these personal little pages went away? Anyone else got a stale site they secretly hope never gets shut down?
