Shoutout to the ad my 8 year old made me stop on, and why I keep thinking about it
Last Saturday my daughter was reading over my shoulder in the kitchen and saw an ad for a plush toy that looked exactly like our dog, and she asked me to stop scrolling so she could count the spots. It got me because it was just a plain photo of a stuffed animal on a chair, no loud colors or fake countdown clock at all. A friend of mine who works at a pet store in Boise mentioned that plain ads pull her in more than anything flashy. Does a simple product photo get anyone else to stop, or is it just me and a tired dad brain?
