That 'free beard oil' ad got me with the demo video

I clicked because the guy in the ad used a ruler to show how far his stubble grew in 10 days, and I just had to see if that was real. Ended up buying a $22 sampler pack, and yeah, it worked, but my wife says I smell like a campfire now. Anyone else fall for a demo ad and actually keep using the product?
