That obnoxious carpet ad made me switch to laminate, no joke

I saw this loud 30 second spot for a carpet store in Cleveland 4 times in one hour, and it was so annoying I went to Home Depot that weekend and bought laminate planks instead. 8 months later, my dog spills water and I just wipe it up, anyone else change a plan just to spite an ad?

My sister once bought a whole new car because a dealership commercial kept playing the same song during every single show she watched. Ended up with a minivan and she doesn't even have kids. That carpet ad must have been something else.
