Had to pick between Copilot and Claude for writing emails and it wasn't close

I run a small cleaning business and needed an AI to help draft customer follow-ups and scheduling messages. Tried Microsoft's Copilot for a week but it kept writing these super formal letters that sounded like a lawyer. Switched to Claude and got cleaner replies that actually matched how I talk to my clients. Has anyone else noticed that some AI tools just don't get the tone right for small biz stuff?

Oh man, that's hilarious lmao. Copilot probably had my grandma's 1950s etiquette book as its training data or something with how stiff those replies sound. I swear some of these AI tools think every business email needs to sound like a formal complaint to the IRS instead of a normal chat with a client. Claude definitely gets that small business vibe way better, it actually understands we're not all corporate lawyers sending memos around a boardroom table. Plus who has time to proofread and rewrite an AI's overly fancy draft when you've got actual work to do lol. It's wild how different these tools can be for the same basic task.

Right up there with writing a thank you note for getting whacked with a ruler.
