Just noticed my AI tool flagged a typo I would've never caught
I was running a draft through a new grammar checker last night and it caught a repeated word three lines apart. The weird part is the word was spelled right both times, just placed wrong by accident. Has anyone else found their AI catching stuff that feels almost too subtle to be real?

See it differently here. I'd rather have the tool miss my typos than start second-guessing sentence flow that probably works fine.

People keep adding layers of automation to fix things that aren't broken. First it was spellcheck catching actual errors, now it's rewriting entire sentences you never asked about. Same trend with GPS rerouting you off main roads to save two minutes, or smart fridges telling you milk is expired. These tools stop being helpful when they start making decisions for you without asking. I'd rather deal with a typo here and there than have software second-guessing my voice.
