Just realized my ChatGPT saves everything I type into it

I was digging through my account settings yesterday and found out that OpenAI keeps a full history of every chat I've ever had. Over 400 conversations from the past 8 months, all stored and searchable. I never thought twice about what I was typing in there. Anyone else check their privacy settings after finding this out?

Yeah it's wild how much they store without really making it obvious! I had the same shock a few months ago when I was poking around and saw chats from way back that I'd totally forgotten about. Kind of makes me wish there was a clear "delete everything" button right up front instead of buried in menus.
