My custom AI model for a local bakery in Portland started giving wild recipe suggestions last month, like adding pickle juice to chocolate cake.

Oh man, I had the SAME thing happen with a coffee shop bot I was tinkering with. It kept suggesting lavender and mushroom powder in everything, so I had to go back and manually strip out all the "trendy" recipe blogs from the training data. Honestly, just filtering out the top 10 most shared recipe sites fixed like 90% of the weird suggestions for me.

I heard about this happening with other AI models too (there was a whole thing about an AI for a gardening store that started recommending cacti for a moss garden). Something about the training data having too many "creative" recipes from the internet, probably. The pickle juice thing is wild though, like is it a kosher dill chocolate cake or a bread and butter one? That would change the whole flavor profile, obviously. Maybe the AI got confused by all those "secret ingredient" food blog posts where people claim pickle brine makes everything better.
