Remember when you had to code a whole chatbot from scratch?

Back in 2018, I built a basic customer service bot for a small project and it took me like two weeks just to get it to answer three questions right. Now, with tools like OpenAI's API, I can get a working prototype that handles way more in an afternoon. The jump from having to write every single rule to just giving it a few examples and letting it figure things out is wild. Anyone else miss the old grind, or is it just me?

Honestly, seen this happen a lot with bigger clients. Tbh, they usually have layers of people who all need to sign off on everything. Ngl, it can be super frustrating from the outside. You just have to build that wait time into your own schedule from the start. Makes the whole process way less stressful when you expect it.
