Serious question, does anyone still hand-code web forms without AI?

I used to write every form field manually in HTML and JavaScript, checking browser quirks line by line. Three months ago I started letting an AI tool generate the whole validation script for a contact page, and it cut my time from about 40 minutes down to 8. But now I catch myself trusting that output without really reading it, and last week a dropdown in Firefox just stopped submitting. I still think the old way was more reliable for edge cases, just slower. Has anyone else gone back to manual coding after an AI glitch bit them in the arse?
