Bought the $80 digital protractor after 15 years of eyeballing it

I always figured my analog protractor and a steady hand were fine for rigging checks, but last week I finally dropped $80 on a digital unit at the Snapon truck. It caught a 0.4 degree discrepancy on a flap linkage that I would've called good. Anyone else find these gadgets worth it or am I just buying tools to feel fancy?
