PSA: I was torquing bleed valves wrong for years until a guy in Phoenix called me out

I was doing a routine brake job on a 737 and my new helper, a guy who used to work at a shop in Phoenix, just stared at me and said, 'You know you're supposed to do the final turn with a torque wrench, right?' I'd been using a standard wrench and just going by feel the whole time, which is apparently a great way to get a slow leak. How many other 'feel' habits have you guys had to unlearn?
