PSA: the lead at the Tulsa hangar showed me a ziplock of every cotter pin he ever pulled, and now I do the same
He said it takes two seconds to drop the old one in a bag instead of tossing it, so when a pin goes missing later you can prove you actually installed it. Anybody else keep a weird little habit like that, or am I just superstitious?
