Actually, a propeller plane and a jet sound completely different so "angry" could mean two totally different things.

Actually, @blake_martinez, you could make the case that "angry" describes the same feeling no matter what plane you're talking about. Hear me out here. A lot of people hear any low engine rumble and their brain just tags it as "angry" vibes, you know? Prop planes have that deep, shaking growl that feels like a big dog warning you off, while jets have that sharp, piercing scream that sounds like something really ticked off. The sound waves hit different but the mood they create is basically the same kind of aggressive, mechanical energy.

A buddy of mine has this old Cessna that he flies on weekends. One time we were standing on the tarmac and this little Piper Cub taxied past us, engine popping and sputtering like an old lawnmower. He turned to me and said "THAT sounds mad, like it's personally offended by the air it's breathing." Then a Gulfstream fired up behind us and I swear the ground shook. The noise was so sharp it felt like getting yelled at by a drill sergeant. Two completely different sounds but we both looked at each other and said the same word: angry.
