Tried ultrasonic cleaning on fuel injectors, now I question every part I touch

Spent 14 hours ultrasonic cleaning a set of injectors from a Cessna 172 last Friday and three still failed flow testing, so I learned that no amount of solvent can fix internal wear you cant see, has anyone else had better luck with a different method or is it just time to tell the owner to buy new?
