Used to pull avionics panels by hand until I picked up a panel popper set 2 years ago
I was scratching bezels and breaking clips for years using screwdrivers and pry tools, then a senior guy at DFW showed me his panel popper kit. Anyone else switch over to those plastic wedge tools and never look back?

Got a panel popper set last year and honestly it changed everything. I used to dread pulling trim pieces on older cars where the plastic gets brittle. Broke a vintage dash bezel once trying to be careful with a flathead and felt terrible about it for days. These plastic tools just let you work so much cleaner with way less stress. Now I keep one in my bag at all times.

Buddy of mine was trying to pop a door panel off a 90s Civic and used a screwdriver. Slipped and put a gash right through the vapor barrier. Ended up having to track down a whole new panel because the old one got warped from moisture getting in there. He swore up and down after that he'd never touch a metal tool near trim again. Now he's got three different pry bar sets stashed everywhere, in his garage, his truck, even one in his kitchen junk drawer.
