A homeowner's review made me stop skipping the basement sensor

Last month I had a customer in Tulsa leave a 2 star review because their crawl space alarm went off during a storm and they couldn't silence it remotely. I always skipped adding a secondary contact there since it was a tight fit. After that review, I went back and swapped in a wireless tilt sensor plus a keypad zone for under $45 in parts. Now I check the manufacturer's remote access guide before finishing any job with a basement or crawl space. Has anyone else had a feedback loop like that from an online review change their install routine?
