Customer told me my wire runs looked like spaghetti

Guy said it looked like I just threw the wires in the ceiling. Switched to using J-hooks on a grid after that. Anyone else get feedback that actually made you better?

Did you find the J-hooks made a big enough difference right away, or did it take a few jobs to really dial in the spacing and routing? I'm asking because @garcia.charles makes a good point about taking feedback, but I'm curious if the actual fix was smoother than you expected. I've seen guys switch hardware and still end up with messy runs if they don't change their whole approach.
