Finally fixed a stubborn false alarm with a $12 relay from the hardware store
Customer in Springfield called me out 3 times in 2 weeks for random night trips on the back door contact. Multimeter showed clean wiring and the magnet gap was fine, but I noticed the door would shake a bit when the AC kicked on. Threw a tiny relay in line to debounce the signal and it has been quiet for 5 days now. Anyone else run into vibration issues on entry sensors that test fine but act up under real conditions?
