Ugh that sounds SO annoying. I bet it's a bug or a spider web right in front of the sensor. The new builds out here seem to have that problem a LOT. Three days straight would drive me absolutely crazy trying to sleep. Hope you can figure it out soon.

Is it really that simple though? I mean, new builds have all sorts of settling and wiring issues. Maybe the sensor itself is just faulty from the start. I had a similar thing happen and it was a loose connection in the wall, not a bug at all. It took forever to find because we kept looking at the wrong thing.
