Hit 50 commercial fire alarm inspections last month and it broke me

I've been doing residential for years but took on a contract for a strip mall with 12 units in Columbus last month. Pushed past 50 inspections total across 4 weeks and my knees and lower back are screaming at me daily now. Any other installers hit a surprise milestone that made you rethink your setup or schedule?

Those are alarm inspections, not installs. Inspections and installs are totally different on the body. Your back is screaming because you're bending down to check devices and crawl around panels all day, not because you hit a certain number. Ease into it slower next time if you can.

Honestly I used to think it was just about numbers too, like if you hit a certain amount of jobs you'd get wrecked no matter what. But now that you put it that way, it makes total sense. Inspections are way more repetitive bending and crawling while installs you're moving around more and lifting stuff. I never really thought about the difference in the strain on your body like that.
