Lost a whole Friday to a false alarm storm, thanks to one cracked sensor
Triple-checked a residential panel in Phoenix for 7 hours while the homeowner swore the motion detector was fine, then a loose cover plate reset it every time the AC kicked on. Has anyone else dealt with phantom zones that only show up when you're about to pack up the truck?

Last month I had a zone 14 on a church system in Mesa that would only trip between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. Three service calls before I noticed the shadows from the stained glass window were hitting the sensor just right and setting off the motion detector. The pastor kept saying it was ghosts, which was funny until I finally caught it on my phone camera. I ended up mounting a little cardboard shade over the lens with zip ties and it fixed it for weeks. Then they called back because the AC duct above it started dripping condensation right onto the sensor. That whole job took two full days and I still didn't feel like I actually fixed anything.
