Serious question, I used to think those wireless glass break sensors were just a gimmick until one caught a break-in at a client's house in Denver last month.
I installed them as a backup on a job six months ago thinking they were overkill, but the police report said the perps came through a back window the motion sensors missed, so now I'm asking what other backup sensors you guys always include that actually work?

Honestly, I always thought motion sensors were the main line of defense. But you're saying they missed a whole window break? Makes you wonder what else we're all counting on that might not catch everything.

Yeah, motion sensors are great until someone crawls. Cole_mitchell8 has a point about over-relying on them. I always add door contacts on the inside hinge side now, because sometimes they just pop the whole frame.
