Tried a new panel layout last week and confused myself for 20 minutes

I decided to rearrange my control panel on a new install in Austin, wanted to keep it cleaner than usual. Put all the zones on the left side and power on the right, thinking it would look better. Then I spent way too long troubleshooting why zone 3 was showing a trouble, turns out I just mixed up the wiring order in my head. Has anyone else tried a different panel layout and ended up messing up their own rhythm?

Tried the same thing with my garage workbench last year. Put all the screwdrivers in a magnetic strip on the left instead of the right where they always were. Spent a whole Saturday reaching for a flathead in the old spot. That's just how it goes when you break a habit you didn't even know you had. Your brain has its own shortcuts and changing the furniture only confuses it.
