Went back to a job site from 2008, the panel was still running fine

I was in Chandler AZ today swapping out an old radio for a customer and noticed the panel we put in 16 years ago was still holding its programming, not a single service call on it. Do you guys ever go back to old installs and get a little freaked out by how much simpler the wiring was back then?

Heard a guy on a podcast say old installs were basically the wild west, but honestly they kinda built them to last back then. Nothing beats walking into a job and seeing your own work still holding up like that.
