Saw the weirdest tile choice at the model home on Paseo del Norte

Honestly, I was checking out that new build near the Costco and the master shower had this bright orange tile with little green cactus shapes on it. Tbh, it looked like a bad 70s motel bathroom and I couldn't stop laughing. Has anyone else seen a wild design choice in a new build around here?

My buddy bought a place over in that new Mesa Vista area last year. His kitchen backsplash is this shiny purple tile with silver sparkles all through it, looks like a disco ball threw up in there. The realtor called it a "statement piece" but we just call it the migraine maker. He says he's gotten used to it, but every time I go over for a beer it still catches the light weird and blinds me. Makes your orange cactus situation sound almost normal.
