Switched from big box tile to a local yard on Menaul and my grout lines finally look right
I used to drive to the big box store on Eubank for every tile job because it was cheap and open late. Now I go to a small yard off Menaul, and the tile is actually flat, which means my 1/8 inch spacers don't fight me on every row. Cost me about $80 more on my last bathroom, but I saved a whole day of cussing and re-laying crooked pieces. Anyone else notice the box stores sell tile that's bowed, or did I just get unlucky for 3 years?
