Unpopular opinion: I think the new stucco colors going up in the Northeast Heights look cheap

I watched a house on my block get a full exterior redo over the last six months. They went from a classic, warm tan to this bright, almost grayish white that everyone seems to love now. The sun here just bakes it and makes the whole place look flat and washed out, not rich. Am I the only one who misses the earth tones that actually fit our desert light?

Wait, "sterile hospital white" is the perfect way to describe it, lmao. I saw one on Pennsylvania that literally made me squint driving past it at noon. It looks so out of place here, like they picked a color for a cloudy Seattle house, not for all our sun. I can't believe people are paying good money to make their home look like that.

My neighbor on Copper Ave did the same thing last year, went from a nice adobe color to that sterile hospital white. Honestly, it's just paint, man. In five years the trend will change again and they'll all be painting their houses some other Instagram color.
