Always thought CRT monitors were just heavy junk until I plugged in an old Sony Trinitron to test it and the colors on my retro games actually looked better than my modern LCD

I literally spent 3 hours playing Super Mario World on it and now I'm hunting for a used one on Facebook Marketplace, has anyone else gotten sucked into the CRT rabbit hole after swearing them off?

lmao you're already hunting for another one after three hours? that's a bit much. the colors on those old Trinitrons are nice and all but they weigh like a hundred pounds and take up half a desk. you probably just got that initial nostalgia rush which makes everything feel better for a bit. give it a week or two and you'll remember why everybody switched to flat screens in the first place.
